You can now listen to “Summertime” on our radio which is located on the sidebar, it’s the first selection under “The Vault” playlist. This song can be found in the Germany and Japan version of the album “The Vault”. Remember, “The Vault” consists of early recordings of Ashanti from 2001-2002. So as many of you know, on Monday night Ashanti was a part of a one-night-only benefit show of the very popular Broadway musical “Wicked”, titled “The Yellow Brick Road not Taken”. All proceeds will be donated to Bette Midler’s New York Restoration Project. Ashanti gave a very special performance of the closing song “Defying Gravity”, which MTV, BROADWAY and many others (including reviews from attendees) have referred to as the highlight of the night.
